Born and raised in Oakland, I am an avid documentarian whose interactive productions engage diverse communities in dialogue about social and geographic change, using creative media to reconcile historic facts, current data, and personal narratives. Community members have called these programs “enlightening,” “thought-provoking,” and even “necessary.”
My experience spans (and often combines): data arts, dialog facilitation, policy analysis, and public engagement. I speak regularly on Oakland’s cultural geography, including past engagements at UC Berkeley, the Oakland Museum of California, Oakland Art Murmur, and Pro Arts Gallery.
